Luna Keller x Thomas LaVine - “White Lilly”

From Cologne, Luna Keller has just revealed “White Lilly,” another track written in collaboration with USA-based Thomas LaVine.

For a song that is so sparsely recorded, “White Lilly” is robust with ambience and permeating with raw emotion. It begins with the soft and ethereal swelling of cinematic synth, delicately inviting the confident strums of acoustic guitar and ghostly notes from a distant, reverb-drenched lead guitar.

Just like the last release from Keller and LaVine, “White Lilly” is lined with a consistent vocal harmony from the two songsmiths, which, again, leaves listeners with a much wider sonic landscape. And this is what will draw music lovers into the arrangement, allowing them to get lost amidst the nostalgic energy of the imagery.

Song after song, Keller has the tendency to win us over with her craft, and we often find it difficult to resist a solid male/ female duet, particularly when it comes to these intimate morsels of indie folk. And LaVine possesses such a powerful voice, especially in his upper register, that it wonderfully compliments the more emotionally-clad performance of Keller.

Our only hope is that these two continue to release music together. Press play and you will feel the same. “White Lilly” is now available everywhere. Connect with Luna Keller here: Instagram | Spotify | Facebook | X | Bandcamp Connect with Thomas LaVine: Instagram | TikTok | Spotify
