Bandcamp Friday!

In an effort to garner support for some of our new favorite artists, we are asking you to look over this menu of fresh and tasty sonic morsels. We hope that you brought your musical appetite because you are about to dine upon the finest of indie cuisine:

Big Society… Musically akin to Wilco’s Summerteeth, but vocally divergent, “Billy” is becoming a fast favorite at UpToHear…

Coastal Fire Dept… this a Pixies cover that completely kicks ass…

Hearing Trees… dynamically rises and then pulls back before exploding into the majestic end chorus…

Lina K.O…. a droning, atmospheric number, soaked in that sweet, sweet reverb and reminiscent of Julien Baker and the grandiose and cinematic works of Novo Amor….

Magnetic Vines… a “Melancholy autumnal ballad” and the perfect track to play as you make your commute through the treelined roads of wherever you might be…

Marina City... this track will take you on quite a journey and the destination will have you playing it on repeat for the rest of the day.

The Mobros… come and get your ears filled with indie rock that blazes so hard that it’s on the verge of becoming punk…

Mr. Ms. & the Infusions… a fantastic example of Americana…

Near Beer… This track is punchy, well written, and the title alone is a throwback for any Gen X cardholder…

Negative Players… fans of Elliott Smith are going to freakin’ love this track!

The One Eighties... this song will straight-up prance around your ear drums in platform shoes amidst a crowd of strings, horns, and that steady, four-on-the-floor beat!

Ronboy… Just the first few seconds into “Pity to Love” will warn you that you’re in for quite the emotional ride…

Bec Sandridge… Glossy synths surround the vocal melody, giving the song a lovely depth...

Tancred… a truly beautiful number that had us captivated from start to finish.

Wise John… authentic and unpolished; it sounds like a live performance, rather than one that has been ruined by excessive vocal enhancements and autotuning…

Work Wife… ….masterfully orchestrated and undoubtedly an anthem…

Hit us up if you’re still hungry…
