Grace Fuisz - “Chloe”

From Nashville, singer-songwriter Grace Fuisz has just revealed “Chloe,” her first official release in eight years.

We would like to say that it’s been worth the wait, but we’re also borderline resentful that Fuisz has not been releasing a new tune every week. The gentle nature of “Chloe” rests comfortably in that stack of songs best utilized after exhausting every last bit of your social energy– the delicate chords from the acoustic guitar and the track’s subdued rhythm make this vibe extremely clear.

Of course, it is Fuisz’s laid back vocal performance that really hammers down the superbly chill demeanor of “Chloe.” Elegant layers of auxiliary textures softly support her delivery, and the lyrics enter the ears as though permeating from a sonic heart on the sleeve, much akin to the work of Leith Ross, Searows, and Olivia Barton.

About her craft, Fuisz adds: “After moving to Nashville, I was intimidated and took a long hiatus from music, so this is my first release in over eight years. I’ve built most of my following by releasing very rough demos on SoundCloud, starting with a project where I wrote one song a week.”

Chloe” was produced by Max Helgemo in his backyard studio and mastered by Andrew Goldring. It is now available everywhere you get your music. Connect with Grace Fuisz here: Spotify | Instagram | Facebook
