Based in Brooklyn, singer-songwriter Alara has just released the sentimental indie folk track, “Even When It’s Over.”

Even When It’s Over” is built around the deep, rich tones of acoustic guitar that infuse a lush sense of warmth into the composition. The slow, rhythmic playing also heightens the soothing, romantic, and intimate qualities in the track. Minimal layers of extra instrumentation are applied thoughtfully to enhance this mood.

A deep bass creates a meditative foundation whilst light touches of dreamy percussion add splashes of texture. But it is the embellishments of electric guitar that stand out with its smooth, tranquil tones. The mellow layers ooze a sense of contentment and serenity that beautifully amplify the immerse qualities of the arrangement.

The tender vocal of Alara is exquisitely breathy and chilled. The slow delivery beautifully envelops the listener in a mood of contemplation as the words are allowed to gently linger. Alara truly convinces her listener that she is delving into her innermost feelings with this performance.

Even When It’s Over” is a truly heartfelt song that is beautifully produced, showcasing Alara’s ability to craft a stunningly authentic composition. The track comes from her debut EP, scheduled for release this Spring.
