The Radio Field – Simple EP

The Radio Field is the back-to-the-roots bedroom band of Lars from Subterfuge. “Having a ten-year-old in your household that plays decent drums creates a lot of opportunities to fill your home with music, especially during lockdown. Simple EP is the first visible result of what happens in these four walls and is then finalized with help from friends.”

“Years Ago” – has a genuine indie vibe, which is honestly pretty pleasant to hear because most new bands seem to be copying the Oasis aesthetic of the 1990s, rather than striving to be original.

“The Wait” – features a fantastic bass line that is rolled over a guitar that is irresistible. The song is unquestionably one of my favourites, and I appreciate the introspective atmosphere it creates.

“Clover” – The song is an example of the typical British indie music that was popular in the 1990s. This song's guitar technique is understated, but highly intricate. The track conjures up the feeling of the first mild days after a long, chilly winter.

“Congratulations” – A really fantastic tune serves as this amazing EP's closing. The guitar playing perfectly balances the song's rawness. I find that the song gradually becomes an indie anthem. I can't wait to play this on the upcoming Mixcloud show!
