Simon Alexander - “Willow”

From Sweden, we are pleased to share the wonderfully sparse and atmospheric sounds of Simon Alexander’s newest single, “Willow.”

This indie folk bundle of authentic vibes is going to hit you in all of the appropriate emotional places. The track smoothly fades in with the warm and glorious tones of an acoustic guitar, gently finger-plucked to blissful and enchanting perfection.

Alexander’s vocal is heartfelt and emotive, slightly reminiscent of Jeff Buckley as he confidently delivers the lyrics to our ears. The track is void of modern, digital production tactics and, instead, lends its soundscape to layers of mesmerizing supporting vocals that glide throughout the arrangement.

Ethereal pads swell within the sonic space, adding a rich depth to the overall sound and allowing “Willow” to ignite those precious moments of deep introspection that we so often desire. In its four minute and twenty second runtime, do not be surprised to find yourself escaping the trials and tribulations of your worldly existence.
