Toronto-based singer-songwriter Julian Taylor has returned to the blog with “Weighing Down,” the first folksy glimpse into his forthcoming LP, Pathways, due for release on September 27th.
“Weighing Down” initially enters your ears with the rich and full sounds of an acoustic guitar, warmly strummed as it sets the mood for this introspective journey. The smooth, ethereal cries of a pedal steel soon emerge, inviting the listener into indie folk Valhalla, as we truly believe that it is one of the finest sounding instruments in the entire universe.
