Isadora Eden - “Still”

Isadora Eden finds herself back on our blog with the gentle groove of her new release, “Still.”

When someone mentions dream pop, “Still” is exactly the type of music that we imagine. With its slower tempo, vibey guitars, and moody vocals, it comes much closer to our love for Mazzy Star and Skullcrusher. But don’t let that fool you– this track is 100% Isadora Eden. “Still” is predominantly comprised of actual instruments that are played by actual people, which is one of our favorite aspects of music– especially when it’s so easy, these days, to throw in synths and midi.

Isadora does not waste any time here, delivering the lyrics as soon as the song begins. Her voice is soft and the harmonies are rich and we simply cannot imagine a better song to throw on during a late afternoon commute. And because this song clocks in at only two minutes and twenty-four seconds, no matter where you’re driving, you will be able to enjoy it in its entirety, including the fantastic bridge that carries “Still” to its conclusion.

Still” is the second single that Isadora has released ahead of her upcoming LP, forget what makes it glow. And given our fondness for both of them, we simply cannot wait until this beast is dropped.
