Indy June - “Flea”

In the midst of her current tour, Indy June has still found the time to release some new bedroom/ lo-fi dream pop: “Flea.”

Atop some vibey guitar, Indy June provides some layered, melancholic vocals as she delves into some raw subject matter. “Flea” is about feeling small and invisible to your romantic partner, and is bound to resonate with anyone who’s ever been left to feel less than his or her actual worth.

After the first chorus, the arrangement is joined by some cascading sounds of synth, creating a dream pop wonderland of reverberating ambiance. A lo-fi beat shortly snaps into position, bringing about a hefty dose of forward momentum and a reason to tap your foot as you’re completely engulfed by giant waves of emotion.

Flea” concludes in a spiraling, dream-like web of sound, swirling into oblivion with effected vocals and lush layers of synthy bliss. Indy June never fails to completely enchant us and we recommend getting this one into your ears asap.
