Freyja Elsy - “Golden Hour”

Due out on October 28th, “Golden Hour” is a fresh, dream-pop tune from Freyja Elsy. I’m loving this sound! It’s like a blend of Sara Bareilles and Radiohead while not really sounding like either. It’s such a cool amalgamation, featuring sweet sonic treats that await candy-starved ears!

Rhythmic pulses are punctuated with percussion elements as a piano politely pounds out peaceful chords. The vocals are delightful! The verses flow like a river in spring and the playful intervalic ascension that propels the chorus melody is transcendent. Layered vocals harmonize splendidly. My words don’t do this song justice, but basically it has vibe for days and sits in that special place of feeling as unique as it feels familiar. I highly recommend treating yourself to this intoxicating tune!
