Dom Malin - “All I Know”

Dom Malin returns to the blog with his latest single, “All I Know.” An eager, finger-picking guitar creates a meditative trance, like the spinning of wheels on an open road. His voice is soothing and confident, buttressed by a sumptuous sonic quality. Harmonies and ‘ahhs’ comfort the listener, almost as much as those full piano chords. What is it about piano that makes everything feel like it’s all going to be ok? I don’t know. I don’t play piano. Maybe it’s the purity of the simple sound that envelops. “All I want is a hiding place” is an extremely relatable lyric and it is paired with a comforting refrain of “Down by the river she hides.” “All I Know“ is a lovely tune that transports me, which is the high watermark of art for me. I love it when sounds and words can make me feel like I am in another place, whisked away from the mundanity of forced sanity. Yes, this is a good one…. See for yourselves:
