We typically refrain from featuring instrumentals, but sometimes the world is just too loud and adding more words can risk pushing us over the edge. For this reason, it is our pleasure to host Donkeychote’s “Balaclava” as the ITOTW. This little banger oozes with warbling lo-fi deliciousness, harnessing a magnificent ‘70s psych vibe that we simply can’t get enough of. While a very brief vocal performance emerges at several points, it remains subdued enough to complement the hypnotic, swirling atmosphere, as though another instrument.
