Midnight High’s “Avenue” is a captivating indie synth pop gem that is sure to leave listeners spellbound. The song’s foundation is a relentless, pulsing bass line, which gives the song the feeling that it would be perfect to listen to whilst driving a car. The main synth line that is splashed in the odd place as a hook is both catchy and memorable.

The drums are perfectly placed, setting a smooth pace that complements the melody of the song. However, it is the vocal performance that truly steals the show.
