New York-based indie rockers Loose Buttons have just released the gentle and vintage vibes of “I Saw Jon Hamm At The Beach.”

This one opens with a quick drum fill, soon revealing a 1970s compression that firmly glues together the lighthearted rhythm section. Atop its groove, a sweetly subdued guitar pours chords into the production, making for one of the most chill listening experiences ever to enter your ears.

Along with the rest of the elements, the vocals begin, confident and vibrant as they divulge the details of this incident that occurred last summer. The song is based upon a true story, and while that is cause enough to have a listen, we assure you that it is not the only reason that you shall enjoy this finely crafted tune.

The end of the first verse invites additional layers of guitar, dreamily navigating their way throughout the arrangement, providing ear candy galore and multiple reasons to listen to the track on a loop. Soft vocal harmonies also emerge, revealing yet another attribute that will have you adding this song to all of your favorite playlists.

About the song, Loose Buttons’ Eric Nizgretsky adds: “It was one of those idyllic beach days — the sky blue, the air just right. And then, out of the corner of my eye, the man himself Jon Hamm. There he was, a perfect 'symbol of the ideal man' who, in reality, was just simply another beachgoer, casually playing kadima and sharing the day with his loved ones. As a huge fan of his work, seeing him out there, just being a regular dude, felt wonderfully refreshing. The whole experience debunked the 'leading man' facade I’ve often attributed to him. So, if you ever get the chance, I highly recommend seeing Jon Hamm at the beach— it’s a life changing experience.”

For those of you who do not live near a beach, or in the vicinity of any recent Jon Hamm sightings, fear not– for you can simply live vicariously through this tasty morsel of sound. We recommend doing so asap.
