Time to ‘feel alive’ with The Great Leslie

From London, England, I present to you: The Great Leslie. You should– nay! You MUST listen to “Feel Alive” for Alfie Pawsey’s bass line alone, because holy sh*t, it’s a freakin’ jam. On top of that, Ollie Trevers’ tremendous vocal work is, at times, homogenous with the likes of Brenden Urie in both intensity and vibrato. Add to these elements the guitar skills of Freddie Miles, strewn across the top of Ryan Lavender’s drums– complete with moments of turbocharged high hat syncopation– and you have the makings for the next indie rock chart topper. My only regret is that it was released in June and I am only now hearing it. This song is a mother freaking beast!
