Clear Coast - “Againiam”

Swirling synth pads and a nice bass groove set the tone perfectly for Clear Coast in their brand new tune “Againiam.” Snappy Drums propel the groove further while reverb-drenched vocals carry you away to a dreamy place. The guitar hook is infectious and the vocal melody floats over the band perfectly.

I can’t make out all the words, but I just love the ones that come through clearly. And honestly, I kind of love the abstraction that is created from lyrics that aren’t immediately obvious. The song begins with, “I never felt ten feet tall. Again I am way too small.” That’s more than enough for me to dive into the mood of this tune and simply love how it makes me feel. Yep, it’s a deep dive into a refreshing ‘pool of cool’ and I’m swimming in the glorious sounds, grooving with its dreaminess. Come on in, the water’s nice!

Clear Coast say that “Againiam is “about feeling small in an overwhelming world and not knowing where you belong. It's about a person that describes its feelings in colors. The person feels light blue, slowly fading into transparency.”
