Scottish singer-songwriter Calum Bolland, aka The Romantidote, has just released “Better In Time,” a gorgeous indie folk song that is sure to capture the hearts of all who hear.

Better In Time” opens very gently, with the strumming of an acoustic guitar, creating a peaceful and tranquil ambiance that continues for the song’s duration. Warm piano and harmonica are added for a cozy feel, while the sophistication of the violin’s sound adds a touch of elegance to the overall composition.

The vocals on “Better In Time” stand out because they are delivered with a soft touch and genuinely heartfelt sincerity that effectively captures the lyrics’ unfiltered emotion. And the storytelling reflects The Romantidote’s experiences with the pandemic, sobriety, and his life partner, and we found them to be very moving and intimate.

The song’s rousing and inspiring ending is made even better by the inclusion of a choir, which again provides a sense of warmth and intimacy. The track’s production is excellent, and all of the components within the arrangement mesh together very well as they effortlessly complement one another.

Better In Time” marks the second occasion that The Romantidote has appeared on our blog and if he keeps churning out music like this, it will most assuredly not be the last. Give his music a spin and prepare yourself to be emotionally moved.
