Alex Francis - “If I Can’t Have You”

There is your average indie acoustic nostalgic peddler, and then there’s Alex Francis. “If I Can’t Have You” is a real gem and is the type of song that seems ready for a montage sequence in a film. Alex demonstrates excellent songwriting and shuffles smoothly to its catchy hook. He has a strong, authentic musical voice, vibrantly backed up by supporting vocals throughout the record. He has toured alongside the likes of the Stereophonics, James Bay, and Sting and is definitely one to watch.
